YOGA TEACHER TRAINING: Curriculum
The Structure, Power and Grace, Prasana Yoga Teacher Training is a world-class opportunity to extend your understanding of yoga practice, the human body, and the yoga tradition. Our real-life curriculum is practical, diverse and in–depth.
It is a strong base for launching a yoga career or for experienced yogis to enhance their teaching and personal practice. It teaches about yoga as a personal practice, as a vocation, and as a phenomenon in world history and philosophy.
In addition to these things, you will learn the system of Prasana Yoga.
Prasana Yoga is a system of Alignment in Movement with its own vocabulary and understanding of how we move. You will learn its concept of mind-body patterning and how yoga shifts it. You will learn the major yoga poses, their traditional alignment cues, and standards for sequencing. With this foundation you will design poses, yogic movement and yoga choreography, serving your goals in the fields of public instruction and personal evolution.
In the end, this practice uses ancient wisdom to create precise, beautiful, and potentially new asanas, while teaching sequencing that grants the benefit of true meditation in motion.
